黒人系アイルランド人の人たちって基本ブルネットだって聞きました。ご先祖様に黒人の血が混ざってるとかなのかな。よくわかりません。ご教授いただけませんか？染めてブロンドにしてるけど元々はブルネットですよね。この写で根元の髪色見ればわかる。目色は青で肌は色白。黒人系のアイルランド人で合ってますかね？ 〔I heard that Black Irish people are generally the brunettes. その可能性は低いでしょう。黒人系アイルランド人というのは通常、地中海方面の系譜で、黒髪に目色も黒め。狭い範囲に固まって血筋を継承しているわけではなく、世代を経ながら突然出現するものなのです。赤毛と同じですね。 〔Unlikely. Black Irish are usually people who are descended from Mediterranean stock, and still have black hair and dark eyes. They don't come in little boxes, they can pop up from generation to generation, along with the red hair.〕

そういうアメリカ式の発想をこちらに持ち込んでいただきたくはないところ。自分は黒髪に青目で色白ですけど姉妹はみんな茶髪ですし、あとの家族はみんな金髪。つまりうちの家族はブラウン系でブロンド系のアイルランド人で…要するに原住アイルランド白人といってもほかの北ヨーロッパ諸国と同じで多種多様な髪色の持ち主がいるということ。遺伝子プールに外国の血が混ざりつつある今だとますます多様化してますしね。 〔I wish that Americans wouldn't give us terms like that . 本来のアイルランド人の容姿は黒髪/茶髪に色白の肌に目色は青（とりあえず地理の先生に昔そう聞いた）。赤毛はバイキング起源とのことですが、よくわかりませんな。 〔The original appearance of Irish people was black/brown hair, pale skin and blue eyes (or so I'm told by my old Geography teacher). Red hair apparently came with the Vikings, but I don't know.〕
