NASCARだ。プロレスはレスリング込みのソープオペラ。それ以外の何物でもない。しかも全てが台本通り。べつに八百長呼ばわりするつもりはない。なんだかんだでレスラーさんらは実際に怪我もするしダメージ受けるわけだし、真剣勝負に見せ掛ける技術ってのも相当なもんだ。でも台本通りに変わりはない。 〔NASCAR. Pro Wrestling is nothing more than a soap opera with wrestling mixed into it. Plus it's all staged. I wouldn't call it fake because the wrestlers are hurting and banged up at the end and does take a lot of skill to make it look real, but it's staged and scripted.〕
実は自分もWWEを見ていた時期がある。まだ面白かった時期のWWE。ちなみに台本付きだということは承知していた。それも今は昔。例外なく展開が読めるようになってからキッパリ見るのを止めた。新鮮味が感じられなくなってつまらなくなったわけだ。 〔I won't lie, I used to watch WWE but only because at the time it was entertaining and I knew it was scripted. It just got old because I was at a point where I could always guess what was going to happen, so nothing was new about it. So I just stopped watching it, wasn't entertaining anymore.〕
