うちの小屋に野良の子猫が住み着いてます。かなりの幼さでお腹も空かせているはずなのですが、まわりのネコたちに追い回されてしまう現状を学習したようで、食べ物を置いてあげても近寄ってこないわけなんですよ。なんとか捕まえてあげる方法がないものでしょうか？？？飢えないようにしてあげたくて。 〔there is a stray kitten living at my stables. he is quite young and hungry but doesnt come to food because it has learned the other cats will chase him away. any other was to catch him??? i want to catch him so he wont starve.〕

袋小路に追い込む。その際には手袋と長袖シャツの着用をお忘れなく。 〔corner him but wear gloves and a long sleeve shirt〕
もしくは、ほかの猫がいないタイミングを見計らったうえで、美味しそうなチキンやミルクや魚を置いてあげればよろしいでしょう。ただその際も手袋などの着用はお忘れなきように。 〔or when you see him offer him yummy chicken milk and fish and he might come to you if no other cats are around but still wear gloves and stuff〕

その周りの猫たちは懐いてるんですか？まずその周りの猫ちゃんたちをみんな小屋の中に入れる。そして美味しいエサを与える。肉片とかキャットフードとか。騙されたと思ってぜひとも一度お試しを。荒ぶる野良猫ちゃんでも漁業用の網を用いて捕獲することは可能です。とにかくその子猫ちゃんにそこを離れていってほしくないのであれば、その子がもっと育って強くなるまで周りの猫ちゃんたちを遠ざけておくべきでしょうね。もしくは良好な棲み処を探してあげたりで。 〔Are the other cats tame? Take them all inside for a little bit and bring out some food--tasty food, such as some bits of meat or wet cat food. I know it sounds bad, but the crazy strays can be caught with nets that are used to bring a fish in to a boat. If you want to keep the kitten around, you will have to move the other cats until the kitten gets older and stronger, or find the kitty a good home.〕

まず餌付けを開始。そして実害の無い罠を仕掛ける。引き金の部分にあらかじめツナの小山を置いておく。ツナの汁を染み込ませた新聞紙を敷いておく。幾度か夜を越さなければならない可能性もあるし少々しんどいでしょうけど、これなら成功するはず。手で捕まえるのはNGですよ！人間を怖がるようになってしまう可能性がありますのでね！これでも駄目なら地域の保健所を頼ってみるのも一考でしょう。捕獲罠ならネットで購入も可能。周りの猫から遠ざけつつ部屋の中まで誘い込む。そうすればうまく罠に掛かってくれることでしょう。 〔Start feeding him.
