最長身は231cmのマヌート・ボルがそうだったかと（ちなみに90キロしかなかった！）。1986年から1995年にかけて様々なチームを転戦なさった人です。シュートを塞き止めることのできる長身選手をブレッツが欲しがっていたのがドラフトの理由であったそうな。〔I think Manute Bol was the tallest ever, at 7'7" (and only 200 pounds!) He bounced around the league between 1986 and 1995. He was drafted because the Bullets wanted a tall guy to block shots.〕
