マリオカートWiiが最高峰。多数のキャラにカートにバイクに実に優れたオンラインプレイ、総合的に抜群なソフト。 〔The best racing game is Mario Kart Wii. It's a great game overall with many characters, karts, and bikes to unlock, and also, it has really good online play.〕

マリオカート以外なら・・・残念ながらおそらくニードフォースピードが最善の選択肢でしょう。グランツーリスモ型の改造機能とレース仕様でストーリー無しのソフトというのはWiiには存在しないような。ライセンス車を目玉としているGTプロという若干ツーリスモ式のシリーズならあるのですが、あまり評判よろしくありませんね。 〔Besides Mario Kart... your best option unfortunately is probably the Need For Speed series. The Wii's rather lacking in Gran Tursimo style straight up modding and racing with no storyline gameplay. There's also a game called GT Pro Series which features licensed cars and is a little closer to the Turismo formula, but doesn't have very good reviews.〕

高難易度をお望みであればニード4スピードプロストリート。レース最中に警察とカーチェイスしたいのであればニード4スピードアンダーカバー。ニード4スピードホットパースートの購入は避けられますよう。漫画風味のレースゲームをお望みの場合、マリオカート。破壊競走＆フロントガラスごしに運転手を銃撃してポイント獲得したいのであればフラットアウトをどうぞ。自分自身が動物/乗り物になれるエキサイト猛マシンというゲームもありますよ。 〔If you want a challenge get Need 4 Speed Prostreet, if you want cop chases on top of racing get Need 4 Speed Undercover. Do not buy Need 4 Speed Hot Pursuit. Unless you want a cartoony looking racing game, then get Mario Kart. Look for Flatout if you want racing, demolition derby, & games in which you shoot the driver out the windshield to gain points. There's a game called ExciteBots Trucks, where you're an animal/vehicle.〕

レースゲームならニードフォースピードカーボンとかいいよ。あとWii版マリオカート。Wi-Fi仕様。 〔Need for Speed Carbon is a good racing game and also Mario Kart for the Wii which is a Wi-Fi game.〕

M＆Mレーシングはやめとくべし！！！一度プレイしただけでもう二度と触りたくなくなること受け合い！マリオカートは値札に見合う価値あり（店頭にあればの話ですけど）。マリオカートWiiは超おすすめです。もはや好ましくないレベルにゲームを大量所持してますけど、そんな自分のオキニはロックバンド。良きゲームに巡り会えますように！ 〔Don't get M&M racing!!! I swear, you will bring it home and play it once, and decide never to play it again! Mario Kart is well worth the pricetag (if you can find it in the stores). I highly suggest Mario Kart Wii. I have way more games than I should, and that and Rock Band are my favorites. Good luck finding a game for you!〕

いわゆる「再現性」に優れたソフトというのはWiiには皆無です。エキサイトトラックは楽しめますが、グランツーリスモの重量にはほど遠し。マリオカートも楽しめますが、再現性とはほど遠し。 〔There aren't any really good "realistic" racing games on Wii. Excite Truck is fun, but far from the depth of Grand Turismo. Mario kart is also fun, but far from realistic.〕

断然マリオカート。1人～4人プレイまでできて、戦闘もできて、ニンテンドーWi-Fiに繋げることまでできて。ただしあまりの人気で店頭購入が非常に困難だったりしますけどね。任天堂もまさかここまでの勢いで売れるとは予期できていなかったため品薄状態なのです。 〔Definitely Mario cart. It is 1p-4p you can race, play battles and even go on Nintendo WI-fi. Although its hard to find at some stores because of its popularity, and Nintendo had no idea they would sell this fast so they made less then they should have.〕
