コンピュータ新調。マカフィー製のアンチウイルスソフトが付属してました。これを継続使用すべきかそれとも別のを入れるべきか？ちなみに契約プロバイダがノートン360を無償提供してるようです。これにすべきかそれともフリーソフトでもっと良いのがあったりしますか？ 〔I just got a new computer that came with mcaffe antivirus. I was wondering if I should keep that or go with something else? My ISP offers Norton 360 for free, should I download that or are there free programs that are better?〕

マイクロソフトのセキュリティ・エッセンシャルズを入れましょう（無料なうえに有料ソフトの大半を凌駕する性能です）。そしてマカフィーを削除しましょう。 〔install Microsoft Security Essentials (it's free and often better than most paid antiviruses) and get rid of McAfee〕

プロバイダ提供品の使用は避けたいところ。単にその製品の発売元とお得な納入契約結んでらっしゃるだけなのですし、あと言うまでもありませんけど、そのソフトに関して問い合わせても「ノートンのほうへお尋ね下さい」、そしてノートンのほうに問い合わせても「プロバイダ様の提供ですのでそちらへお尋ね下さい」。このサポートたらい回しに直面しなきゃいけませんしね。 〔I don't like using what the ISP provides, only because if they negotiate a better deal with another AV product then you have to uninstall and reinstall, not to mention the support headache of the ISP saying 'ask the Norton" and Norton saying "it's provided by your ISP, ask them".〕

とりあえずアバストは避けましょう。ウィンドウズ8に入れたらメモリ管理云々のエラーが頻発するようになります。アンインストールした途端さっぱり正常に戻りました。ウィンドウズ8付属のウィンドウズディフェンダーを使うようにしてます。初級中級ユーザーさんにオススメ。 〔what ever you do dont choose Avast its keeps crashing windows 8 error message memory management and others ,ive uninstalled avast and now all is fine .i am using windows defender which comes with windows 8 and its fine if you are a light to medium user〕
