先月購入したデスクトップパソコン。マカフィーのアンチウイルスが初期搭載でした。既に試用期限切れで使えない状態になってます。マカフィーほんっと重いんでもう入れときたくないわけなんですが、安全性の面からいってアンチウイルスソフト自体はやっぱ必要ですかね？フリーソフトはどんなです？有料でもいいんでオススメのアンチウイルスソフトありませんですか？ 〔I got my laptop a month back, it was pre-installed with mcafee antivirus and now the trial version has expired and I don't want to keep mcafee cos it really slows down my system; do I really need an antivirus installed to keep my system safe? マカフィーへの拒否感はわかります。ありゃ紛れもないリソース大浪費ソフトですからね。 〔McAfee is definitely a resource hog. So I can understand why you'd want to get rid of it.〕
アンチウイルスソフトは必須。サイト閲覧でもメール受信でも危険要素は膨大です。 〔You definitely need an AV software. There are too many sites which can compromise your system or someone could accidentally send you one via email.〕

ウィンドウズ8にアンチウイルスは必須です。ウィンドウズディフェンダー（マイクロソフトセキュリティーエッセンシャルズと言い換えてもよし）はマルウェアをほとんどスルーしてしまいます。無料のアンチウイルスで最適なのはAVGとアバストでしょうか。いずれもこれさえあれば充分というか充二分です。 〔Windows 8 definitely needs an antivirus. Windows Defender will not catch most malware (neither will Microsoft Security Essentials for that matter). The two best free antivirus suites I know off are AVG and Avast. Either one is more than enough protection.〕

ウィン8にはウィンドウディフェンダーというアンチウイルスプログラムがありますから、アンチウイルスプログラムが別途必要ということはございません。とはいえ当方の場合無料のマルウェアバイツ（アンチマルウェアプログラム）＆無料のスーパーアンチスパイウェア（アンチスパイウェアプログラム）を追加しておりますがね。 〔Window defender is an antivirus program on Win 8, so no you don't need an antivirus program, however I would back it up with free malwarebytes (antimalware program) & free superantispyware (antispyware program)〕

不適切なサイト（工口）の類や、あと言うまでもありませんけど正体不明のファイルや広告を開いたりしない限り大丈夫なはず。私のパソコンは2008年購入のものでウイルス対策ソフトを入れていたのは最初の1年間だけでした。以降ずっと入れてませんけど2013年の今に至るまで何も問題起きてません。 〔As long as u stay away from inappropriate sites (xxx) or anything related, and of course do not open anything u don't recognize and don't go around opening all these advertisements, u should b fine.
