必要ありません。インストールは漏れなくソニーを通して行うわけなので。悪質ソフトを送り込める輩など存在しません。 〔No they dont. Because everything that needs to be installed on it goes through sony. So no "random guy" can make malicious software for it.〕

当方の存ずる限り、PS3を狙ったウイルスというのは存在しませんし、PS3用のアンチウイルスソフトというのも存在しません。つまり現時点では・・・大丈夫。 〔As far as I know, there are no viruses for the PS3, nor is there any anti-virus software for the PS3. So you're fine... for now.〕

PS3にウイルスの脅威は存在しないはず。ウイルスの的はやはり普通のコンピューター、それもとりわけウィンドウズなのであって、このコンソールの狙い撃ちを目論む者などまず皆無、つまり、ありえないことでしょう。 〔I know of no serious virus threats to the PS3. There never likely will be, because nobody targets the consoles, really, just the computers, and even then mainly Windows.〕

いえPS3にウイルス防護を施すことなど不可能です。その必要もありません。とはいえ関連サイトの利用にあたっては万全の管理体制が整っていることを前もって確認なさいますよう（ﾟーﾟ） 〔No, you can't put virus protection on the PS3, and you don't need to, but just the same, I'd use it to go to well maintained sites that you are familiar with:)〕
