部門を『ナスカー』(NASCAR)に定めたうえで2010年の4月8日に放たれたこの質問は、その投稿者の定め置いた簡潔な題が全てを述する通り、米国発のモータースポーツリーグ「NASCAR」における「黒人」選手の存否について、教示を求めた。

実はれっきと存在しておる。トラックシリーズにしばらく出場していたビル・レスター（今も現役なのかどうかはわからん）。ランクは下のほうだがマーク・デイビスというのもいる（昨年ネイションワイドでも何度か走っておった）。 〔Yes there are, in fact.Bill Lester spent some time in the Truck Series (not sure if he's still racing.) Marc Davis runs in the lower ranks (he ran a couple Nationwide races last year).〕
あと名前は失念してしもうたが、どっかのマイナーストックカーリーグ（ARCAだったか？）で何週間か前に黒人レーサーが優勝者になっておった。見つけたらまた追記して差し上げよう。 〔And also, I don't remember his name, but like a couple weeks ago, a black driver won a race in a lower stock car series. (Maybe ARCA?) If I can find it, i'll put it up on here for you.〕

グリーンビルピケンズスピードウェイのレースで3月優勝なさったばかり。マイナーシリーズではありますが今後どんどん出世していきそうだ。 〔He just won a race at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in March. Minor series but he loos like he could progress quickly.〕

キャンピングワールドトラックシリーズにビル・レスターがおりましたね。たしかネイションワイド（ブッシュ時代）にも第一陣で出場したはず。スプリントカップシリーズでしたら黒人選手は今現時点じゃ皆無ですね。 〔Bill Lester used to drive in the Camping World Truck Series, and I believe he made a Nationwide(Busch at the time) series start. There are no black drivers in the Sprint Cup series at this time.〕

ダレル・ウォーレス・ジュニア。黒人の母親と白人の父親、ハーフだな。ちなみに出場レースはARCAではなくナスカーのキャンピングワールドトラックシリーズ。バージニア・マーティンビルのレースで優勝。ナスカー・スプリントカップシリーズ受賞晩餐会の場でも名指しで話題に。ドライブフォーディバーシティーの企画にも黒人レーサー数名。あとウィレンとK&Nのプロシリーズにも。上級スプリントカップシリーズになると黒人選手は皆無。 〔Darrel Wallace, Jr is bi-racial, mother is Black and father is white. He does not drive in ARCA, he drives in Nascar Camping World truck series. He won the race in Martniville, Va and was mentioned at the Nascar Sprint Cup awards banquet. There are several black drivesr in the Drive for Diversity program ,also in the Whelen and K&N pro series. There are no Black drivesr in the higher echelon Sprint Cup series.〕
