わりと人気のスポーツであり続けています。長年にわたり大勢の世界王者を輩出してきた国ですからね。最近の例でいえば亀田兄弟がそうですね。とはいえ国技は相撲ですしプロレスも近年人気上昇中。K1も根強い人気ですが1990年代ほどではありませんね。 〔Boxing has always been relatively popular in Japan with Japan producing many World champions over the years with the latest being the Kameda brothers. That said, Sumo wrestling is the national sport and Professional Wrestling has been increasing in popularity the last few years. K1 is still going strong but not as popular as it was in the 1990s.〕
