全国規模でどんなんなのかはちょっとわかりませんけど、とりあえずバッファロービルズのファンなカナダ人は大勢おりますよ！ 〔Not sure about nation wide but Buffalo Bills have a ton of canadian fans!〕

超大人気というほどではありません。けど結構なレベルの人気ですよ。CFLのほうが早めに始まり11月末でシーズン終了ですから、ちょうどスーパーボウルで盛り上がり始めるNFLにそのまま移行するという流れ。米国発の番組はこちらでもケーブルで全て視聴可能となっていますし、CFLの終了とともにNFLの試合を流すキー局なんかも存在しております。 〔Not quite as fanatical a following, but very popular. The CFL season ends late Nov, and starts earlier , so people migrate to NFL as things move towards the Super Bowl. We get all the US channels on cable, and once the CFL is done, one of the the major networks here picks up NFL games on occasion.〕

人気あると思います。NFLはトロントでも試合やってますよね毎年。バンクーバーだとシーホークスが人気だったりします。あとはわかりませんね。 〔I think so, I know that the NFL plays a game in Toronto every year and that people in Vancouver follow the Seahawks, but otherwise I'm not sure〕

熱狂的な人気というのはないです。ホッケー熱のほうが遥かに上をいってます。どちらかといえばCFLでしょうね。まあCFLを見ていらっしゃる人は大抵NFLも同時に見ていらっしゃるものですけどね。 〔It's not ultra popular. People are much more enthusiastic about hockey. And yes we're probably more into the CFL. But people still do watch it. The people who watch the CFL usually watch both.〕

トロント付近に住んでるめっちゃ仲いいカナダ人さんの友達いるんですけど、CFLよりNFLを見てる人がほとんどだって言ってましたよ。理由は単純にそっちのほうがレベル高いからだって。CFLのまともな選手はみんなNFLに持ってかれちゃうって愚痴ってました。ビルズのファンな人が多くて、ビルズの試合の観客も結構な割合でカナダ人さん。 〔I have a very close Canadian friend that lives near Toronto. She says that for the most part people will watch the NFL over the CFL simply because its more competitive -- she often complains that if there are any decent players in the CFL, the NFL will take them. A lot of people there are Bills fans, and a good portion of the Bills attendence in games are Canadians.〕

当方NFLフットボールの熱烈愛好者にして大のセインツファンなカナダ人です。子供の頃は毎年夏になるとプレシーズンの試合を目当てにニューオーリンズまで行ってましたよ。当時はしょうもないチームでしたけどね。NFLはトロントで特に人気。（トロントでは）CFLをも上回る人気かも。CFLの選手とか一名たりとも存じてませんわ当方。こちらトロントですとビルズのファン層が大変厚い。そういやバッファロービルズ対パッツの試合を見に行きましたよ09年。フットボール観戦は大好きですし同じような友達も結構多いです。今度セインツのチケット2試合ぶんばかり買う予定です。うちひとつは対コルツ戦。ちなみにバッファロービルズは一時期トロントへの移転が噂されたことがありました。 〔I'm a Canadian and I LOVE NFL football and I'm a HUGE SAINTS fan since I used to go to New Orleans every summer when I was a kid and watch a pre-season game but they sucked back then. The NFL is quite popular especially in Toronto maybe even more popular than the CFL (in Toronto).I personally don't even know a single CFL player since I don't keep up with it. The Bills are are largely supported here in Toronto and I have been to a Buffalo Bills game once against the Pats in '09. I LOVE to watch football and I know a lot of people and friends who do as well. I'll be getting tickets to two Saints games one against the Colts. The Buffalo Bills franchise has been mentioned in a possible relocation to Toronto only once.〕

NHL（ホッケー）やCFL（カナディアンフットボール）やカーリングには遥かに及びませんし、おそらくMLBやNBAやゴルフにも負けてしまっているのでは。ジュニアホッケー（CHL）やサッカーやクリケットあたりと同レベル、とすら言ってしまえるかもしれません。 〔It doesn't even come close to the NHL (hockey), CFL (Canadian football), or curling. It also probably falls behind the MLB, NBA, and golf. You could even make an argument that junior hockey (CHL), soccer, and cricket are right around where the NFL is.〕
