は、なにより検索エンジンとして名高い「ヤフー」の送るサービスのひとつ『ヤフー！知恵袋』の本家版すなわち『ヤフー！アンサーズ』(Yahoo! Answers)に投稿された質問である。

きわどい質問なのは承知しとります。侮蔑や攻撃などの意図は一切ございません。ゲイであることを告白した人物。真面目な回答求む。別部門向きの質問なのかもしれませんけどもこちらが良いと自分は思ったので。 〔I understand the sensitivity of this question. 当方の知る限りでは現役ボクサーにゲイはおりませんね。60年代のウェルター・ミドル級王者エミール・グリフィスさんはそうでした。“パナマ”ことアル・ブラウンさんもそうでした。1920年代のバンタム級王者の方ですね。 〔As far as I know there isn't an active Boxer who's gay. But Emile Griffith the world Welterweight and Middleweight champion from the '60's was homosexual and so was "Panama" Al Brown, who was world Bantamweight champion during the 1920's.〕
