ミッドウェイだとおっしゃておられる方ばかりですが、それは誤りです。日本側の兵力が米海軍のそれを3倍近く、艦船種別によっては5倍近く上回っておりました。両陣営の参戦船舶総数でもって最大の海戦とするのであれば、レイテ沖がそうです。 〔most of the people have said midway. if this is what you think, you are wrong. the japanese outnumbered the american navy by almost 3 to 1, and 5 to 1 in certain ships. if you are talking about the biggest naval battle that had the greatest number of ships fighting each other, it was leyte gulf.〕
