新作ソフトはPS4でしか出なくなりますか？新作ゲームやるにはPS4に移行せざるを得なくなる？こちらPS3の持ち主ですけど不満は何もありませんしPS4の購入予定はありません。買う必要性が見い出せないところなんですけど、古いゲームを永久にやり続けたくもありません。 〔Will new games only be for the PS4? Will PS3 users be forced to get the new console in order to play new games? I have the PS3 right now and I'm fully satisfied with just keeping it and not buying the PS4. I don't want to buy the PS4 at all, but I don't want to be stuck playing old games forever.〕

PS3発売後のPS2と同じ道を辿ることになります。 〔Same thing as what happened to the PS2 when the PS3 came out.〕
すなわち、PS3のゲームをソニーはしばらく提供し続けることとなり、以後数年間は新作に困ることもないでしょう。 〔Sony will continue to sell PS3s for awhile, and you can expect new games for it to be made for at least a few years.〕
やがては開発者達もしだいにPS4のほうへ移行することとなり、おそらく、3年もすればPS3のソフトは出なくなるのではないかと。 〔Obviously, more and more developers will be moving their games over to the PS4, and I would expect after about 3 years, there won't be any more new PS3 games being developed.〕

PS3向け新作ソフトの開発が完全に止まるまでには数年の時を要します。PS4向け新作ソフトも当初はPS3との互換性を備え持ってのお目見えとなるでしょう。というかそうでなかったら馬鹿としか言いようがありません。ゲーム業界の利益は大部分がソフトから上がるのであって、ハードからではないのです。 〔It will be a few years before studios stop making games for PS3 all together. Even the newer games on PS4 will get releases that are compatible with PS3. It would be pretty stupid not to. The industry makes most of it's money selling games, not consoles.〕

ソニー（日本）がPS2の開発を停止したのはつい先月のことで、新作ソフトも去年まで出され続けておりました。発売されてもそれから4～6年ぐらいはPS3で新作に困ることなどないでしょう。 〔considering sony (japan) only stopped making the ps2 last month and new games for the ps2 was released last year, you dont have to worry yet about not being able to play new games on the ps3 for atleast another 4-6 years〕

公式発表は未だ出されてませんが巷の噂によれば2013年12月の発売になろうとのこと。つまり年内ですな。プレステ3の価格が下がりそうだ。できたら250ドル以下になってくれんものか。なってくれそうだ。現状すべては憶測にすぎませんがね。 〔It is not official yet but it seen and rumors are it will comes out Nov 2013.
