自分も同じ問題を抱えていた。数学が自分の全てだった。数学の授業で平穏無事に勉強できる状況はついぞ実現しなかった。やれ数学教師と仲良くしてるだの、金を払って特別な宿題を出してもらってるだの、数学教師に試験成績（5年間中4年首位）をひいきしてもらってるだのと、いろんな形で非難を受けた。しまいには数学教師とヤッてるとかまで言われるようになった！確かに特別な宿題を出してほしいと頼んだことはあった。自分の 唯 一 の 取り柄だったからな！まあ全ては20年前のことだ。今では数百万ポンド規模の企業の統計士。キミも同じだ。没頭できるものを授かった。 ど う か お 願 い だ か ら そ ん な 負 け 犬 連 中 の た め に そ れ を 捨 て る な ん て こ と よ し て く れ よ 。 〔I had the same problem at school, only mine was with maths.
