あったら驚きかも。。。いち勤務者の私に言わせれば、オリーブガーデンはもはやイタリアの原形を見つけるのが困難なくらいにアメリカナイズされたシロモノ。本場イタリア料理とは無縁な層向けのイタリア料理っていうか。。。 〔If there are I would be very surprised... 良い質問です！まずオリーブガーデンの店舗は存在しません。料理専門学校でしたらイタリアのトスカーナ地方に存在します。会社側から送り込まれたシェフがイタリア料理とワインの心得を学ぶ場所です。 〔Good question! No, there are no Olive Gardens in Italy. 実は1軒あったりします。料理専門学校内の店舗で場所はトスカーナ。オリーブガーデン・リゼルバ・ディ・フィッツァーノという店名で、イタリア人シェフの方が経営されておいでです。米国の店舗とはメニューが異なっていて、ほかの回答者さんのおっしゃるようなことは別になくって、これが大変すばらしい。これまで幾度か食べに行っていますが、最高はイノシシのラグー、次点がパッパルデッレ、もしくはタリアテッレの白トリュフ。世界各地の最高級レストランを経験してきた私でもまた再び行きたくなる。そんなお店です。立地もこれまた麗しいこと。ブドウ畑とオリーブ畑に囲まれた丘の上。 〔Actually, there is one Olive Garden restaurant in Tuscany at their Culinary Institute. It is called Olive Garden Riserva di Fizzano and is run by an Italian Chef. It does have a different menu than in the US and contrary to the other answers - it has very good food. I have eaten there several times and my favorite dishes were the Wild Boar Ragu over Pappardelle and White Truffles with Tagliatelle. I have eaten in a lot of top restaurants around the world and would go back there. And the setting is beautiful. It sits on a hill in the middle of a vineyard and olive trees.〕
