PS3初心者に薦めときたいJRPGといえば最高の一品はデモンズソウルだな。あと戦場のヴァルキュリア、ファイナルファンタジーⅩⅢ、白騎士物語、ディスガイア3、スターオーシャン：ラストホープインターナショナル、エンドオブエタニティもな。 〔Well Demon's Souls will be my most recommended JRPG to anyone new to the PS3. Valkyria Chronicles, Final Fantasy XIII, White Knight Chronicles, Disgea 3, Star Ocean: Last Hope International and Resonance of Fate will also get my nod.〕

戦場のヴァルキュリアはこれまでやってきた全てのゲームのなかでも屈指のお気に入りゲームなんですけど、いわゆる伝統的なロープレとはちょっと別物なんですよね。サードパーソンシューター要素とリアルタイム要素が入った戦略ゲーム寄りというか。それでも強く推しますけどね。 〔valkyria chronicles is one of my all-time favorites, but sadly it's not exactly the traditional rpg, but more of a strategy game with third person shooter and real-time elements. still, i highly recommend it.〕

エンドオブエタニティの愛好者です。実にお見事。衣装の着せ替えがとにかく好き。超堪能できるストーリー。面白すぎです。主観ですけど。あとスターオーシャンもやったことあったような。これもなかなかの出来でした。長いことハマっちゃったりはしませんでしたけどね。興味が長持ちしませんでした。 〔I personally love Resonance of Fate, it's really awesome. I love the costume changes, and I really enjoy the story, it's really fun, at least I think so. I believe I also owned Star Ocean. It was a pretty decent game too. I didn't end up getting very far in it though, it didn't hold my attention for long.〕

JRPGにまともなものが存在するとは思えませんね。日本のゲーム開発者さんはグラフィックと動画ばかりを重視なさっており、それらの補完に必要なストーリー性や技巧やゲーム内容の強化をおざなりになさっています。面白いJRPGをお求めならば、PSストアでPS1の古典的タイトルたとえばゼノギアスなどの購入をご検討いただければと。 〔I don't think there are any decent JRPGs. Japanese developers have focused way too much on graphics and cut scenes and have forgotten about developing strong story, mechanics and gameplay to complement the graphics. If you want fun JRPGs, think about buying some of the PS1 classic games from the PS Store like Xenogears.〕
