今のところフラペチーノはイスラエルには存在しません。が、アロマという名の我が国独自の大手コーヒーブランドがございまして、世界進出もしております。私の友達のアメリカ人にもスターバックスよりアロマのほうが味は全然上だと判断されてる人は多数。とはいえ、スターバックスの絶大なブランディング力とマーケティング力については、やはり認めざるを得ませんけどね！ 〔For the meantime there aren't any frappuccinos in Israel. However, we have our own leading coffee brand which also went global, by the name Aroma. Many of my American friends actually think the Aroma coffee is much better in taste than the Starbucks one. Although, in Starbucks defense one must mention their great branding and marketing capabilities!〕

理由はイスラエルにはスターバックスの平凡なシロモノとは違う上質なコーヒーを提供する極上のカフェが山ほど存在しているからです。また巨大なバケツに酌まれたコーヒーや、コーヒーを謳いながらもほとんどコーヒーと無関係なメニュー、こうしたものなどイスラエルでは需要が無いわけなのです。コーヒーを紙コップで飲むというのも我々好みではありません。 〔The reason is that Israel has plenty of great cafes serving high quality coffee and not the mediocre products of Starbucks. Also there is no demand in Israel for coffee served in giant buckets, or with such variations it is only loosely related to coffee. We also don't like drinking coffee from paper cups.〕
アーカフェをおすすめしたい。こちらで一番人気のチェーンといえばアロマになりますが、より小規模なチェーンのほうがモノは上だと思われますがゆえ。 〔I would recommend ArCafe. Aroma is the most popular chain here, but the smaller chains make much better products IMO.〕
