ビール飲みで、ずんぐり体型。ヒルダとかそんな名前。ドイツ人女性のイメージってのは70年代80年代に出来上がったもんなんですよ。東ドイツの女性陣がスポーツ界を席巻してらした時期ですね。あれステロイド注射してたんですよね。 〔Beer drinkers and stockily built. With names like Hilda. German women picked up a stereotype back in the 70's and 80's when the East German women dominated sports. We now know they were being injected with steroids.〕

管理の行き届いた異常者・・・ うちの義母って最近ドイツから来た人なんだけど、やたらと癪に障る人なんだよね。私が休暇で外に出てたとき勝手に私の部屋に入って、しかもうちにある部屋ぜんぶ塗り替えてんの。もうその色受け付けらんなくなっちゃった。絶えずやってきては物を取り替えたり（カーテンとか絵とか色々。）私と旦那を仲違いさせようとするんだよ。 〔They are controll freaks and neat freaks...My mother in law recently came over here from Germany and she gets on my last nerve.
