トラン県のクラダン島なんか上等なビーチが結構あります。南のほうのリペ島なんかも上等なビーチあり。いずれにしてもクラビのライレイ半島のビーチが屈指だと思いますね。特にプラナンビーチ。 〔Koh Kradan in the Trang province has some nice beaches, also Koh Lipe all the way down south has a nice beach. I still think one of the best beaches are the beaches on the Railay Peninsula in Krabi, especially Phra Nang Beach.〕

クラビとパンガーのビーチはタイで最も美麗な場所。マーヤー島とかシミラン島とか。クラビへはバンコクから飛行機でわずか2500バーツで行くことができます。チャン島も訪れた経験はありますが、正直そこまで大したところじゃなかったですね。 〔Beaches at Krabi and Phangka is the most beautiful places in Thailand such as Maya Island,Similan Islands. バンコクからバスなどで最寄はサメット島とホアヒン。サメット島は週末だったり休日だったりになると国内客で混雑するでしょうけど。 〔Koh Samet and Hua Hin are the closest to Bangkok by bus etc. Koh Samet can get busy on weekends and holidays as a lot of Thais venture there.〕
パタヤはやめておきましょう。性産業が未曾有の勢い！発情しきった小汚い男連中とゴミの吹き溜まりです！ 〔Don't go Pattaya. Crap and dirty beach, with dirty men to boot haha! Well the sex industry is the most rampant in Pattaya!〕
秘境でしたら予算に問題ないならマンノーク島。天国（ただし秘境や僻地をお好みの場合に限られる）。 〔For seclusion and if money's not a prob then Koh Mun Nork is paradise (but only if you like the seclusion and isolation).〕
飛行機でパンガン島もよろしいでしょう。ただし飛行機とフェリーの乗り継ぎだったりがややこしいです。 〔By plane, Koh Phangan is nice but transport takes research and a lot of coordinating with plane and ferries. But it's worth it.〕
プーケットは観光仕様ですけど少数ながら逸品（バンタオビーチ、ラチャ島）もあり。ピピはお金掛かるけど麗しい。サムイ島も同じく観光仕様でお金が掛かります。クラビのライレイも美麗。 〔Phuket is touristy but does have a few gems (Bangtao beach, Koh Racha island). Phi Phi is overpriced but beautiful. Koh Samui is just as touristy and overpriced. Railay at Krabi is beautiful.〕
天候面で絶好なのは8月頃からのタイランド湾に面したビーチ（クラビ、サムイ、パンガン）。 〔Since it's August beaches around the Gulf is best weather wise (Krabi, Samui and Koh Phangan).〕
アンダマン方面（プーケット、ピピ）はひたすら雨でしょう。 〔The Andaman side (Phuket, Phi Phi) might get hit by rain a lot.〕

一番人気はプーケット島とその周辺の島々。国土の端にサムイ島というのもありますね。まだ踏み荒らされてもいない真に綺麗なビーチというなら、冗談抜きで、それは旅行者の目的地とは程遠い漁村に存在しているものです。一方、バー、パブ、ディスコ、買い物、などが目的の場合は話が違ってきますがね。 〔The most popular is Phuket Island and its surrounding islands. There's Koh Samui on the side of the country. Believe it or not, if you're trully looking for unspoiled and really clean beaches, the best ones are the fisherman villages. Those places are definitely not the tourist destination areas. But, if you want to go to a beach where you wanna find a bar, pub, disco, shoppings, then your choice would be different.〕

ランタ島のクロンニンビーチが候補にきますかな…美麗なり。プーケットやらサムイ島やらよりお金も掛からない、現地の人々も良好、（ビーチでひたすらゴロ寝する以外にも・・・）楽しめること盛り沢山で。 〔Try Klong Nin beach in Koh Lanta..It's beautiful, cheaper than Phuket and Koh Samui, nice people, many other activities to do in the island (apart from just getting lazy on the beach)..〕

先月行ってまいりましたよクラビ。ほんっと綺麗なところでした。ライレイビーチの小さなバンガロー（まさに水際！）に滞在。ムエタイ観戦、シュノーケル遊泳、ボートで近場の島へ渡って巨大市場でショッピング。やること盛り沢山でした。そしてなによりビーチが最高！もう毎日あそこで寝転んでいたい！ 〔I went to Krabi a month ago, it was sooo beautiful. We stayed in a little bungalow on Railay beach (right next to the water!) where there was a lot to do. We went to a Muy Thai boxing show, went snorkeling, took a boat to a nearby island for shopping at a huge market. The beach itself is the most attracting thing to me though! I could lay out there all day!〕

うちの近所にあるチェンマイのビーチなんか見事なんだが、冬場はそうでもないな。積雪がもう凄くてね。 〔The beach in Chiang Mai near my home is awesome but not so in the winter as we have a lot of snow after the '' fall ''〕

静かでそこまで僻地でもないビーチとなれば、サムイ島かプーケット（カタorカタノイビーチ）がよろしいでしょうね。パタヤは忘れましょう。チャン島なんかも落ち着いてますよ。ホアヒンは雰囲気は抜群ですが、ビーチは大したことありません。 〔If you want a nice quiet beach that is not too remote, try Koh Samui or Phuket (Kata and Kata Noi Beaches). Forget Pattaya. Koh Chiang is quiet and nice too. Hua Hin has a great atmosphere, but the beaches aren't very exciting.〕

人込みがお好きであればプーケットとかサムイとか…クラビは若干空いていますがそれでも結構な込み合いっぷりで…汚染された水やらとにかく夜遊び好きならパタヤ…以外ならまあ地図をどうぞ。長閑をお望みでしたらホアヒンの南のほうなど。 〔Phuket, Samui, if you like really crowded places... Krabi a bit less touristy but still... Pattaya if you want polluted waters and loads of nightlife... after that, look on a map - if you want more serenity go south of Hua Hin〕
