は、なにより検索エンジンとして名高い「ヤフー」の送るサービスのひとつ『ヤフー！知恵袋』の本家版すなわち『ヤフー！アンサーズ』(Yahoo! Answers)に投稿された質問である。
部門を『オーストラリア』(Australia)へ定めたうえで2006年の11月11日と2008年の10月22日と2009年の6月23日に放たれたこの質問は、各投稿者の定め置いた簡潔な題が全てを述する通り、オセアニアの国「オーストラリア」のとりわけ優れたビーチ(海水浴場)の例示を求めた。

泳いだり日焼けしたりが目的であれば、良好なビーチがシドニーからポートダグラスにかけて離島含めて多数。（西豪のパース周辺やパース以南にも良好なビーチあり）。 〔If they want to swim and sunbake then there are many beaches from Sydney up to Port Douglas that are very nice, including some nice ones of the islands off the coast. (There are also some nice beaches around Perth in WA and down south from Perth).〕
サーフビーチをお望みであれば、良好なビーチが全土の海岸に存在。ビクトリアのベルズビーチが有名です。 〔If they want surf beaches then there are some nice beaches all up and down the coast - Bells beach in Victoria is a famous one.〕

時候しだいの部分も多々。ニューサウスウェールズ北岸（コフスハーバーでしょうか）以南のビーチは泳ぐには冷たすぎ、でも魚釣り、サーフィン、散歩、風景観賞は可能。クイーンズランド北岸のビーチは年の後半になるとクラゲが大量に発生します。またクイーンズランドのとりわけサーファーズパラダイス周辺のビーチは夏～12月・1月にかけて大変な混雑が予想されます。 〔A lot will depend on when you come - any beach below the north coast of NSW (say Coffs Harbour) will be too cold to swim at, but still possible to fish, surf, walk along, enjoy the views. Beaches in the north od Queensland have a lot of jellyfish later in the year. Beaches particularly around Surfers Paradise in Queensland can get very crowded during summer - December and January.〕

ブルームのケーブルビーチ。ほかとは比較にならん。最も麗しく、最も混雑せぬビーチ。西豪南部のバッセルトンにも麗しのビーチ多数。 〔No contest, Cable Beach in Broome is the most beautiful, least crowded beach. A lot of the beaches around Busselton in the South of WA are also beautiful〕

西オーストラリア→ニンガルーリーフかターコイズベイ。どちらもエクスマウス。。。まさに圧巻。シュノーケル遊泳に最適。温暖な気候。 〔Western Australia: Ningaloo Reef or Turquoise Bay, both Exmouth... absolutely stunning, great snorkelling and warm temperatures.〕
タスマニア→サンディーベイビーチかマリオンベイ。。。サンベイビーチは売店とか公園とかが盛りだくさん。。。マリオンベイはとても穏やかで静かな場所。。。 〔Tasmania: Sandy Bay Beach or Marion Bay... SB beach has lots of little shops around and the park etc etc... Marion Bay is very peaceful and quiet...〕
クイーンズランド→ヌーサかグレートバリアリーフ。。。ヌーサはサーフィンに最適。グレートバリアリーフはもはや言うまでもなく世界最長のサンゴ礁。壮観ですので未経験の方はぜひとも。 〔Queensland: Noosa or Great Barrier Reef.. Noosa has great surfing and the Great Barrier Reef well duh that's the longest reef in the world and it is spectacular if you haven't swum in it then please do so〕
