日本とか台湾だと人気ですよね。NBAの姚さんは有名ですけど、ヤンキースにも王さん（台湾人ですけど中国人とも言えますよね？）がいらっしゃるから、じわじわ人気上昇してたりするのかなぁとか。 〔I know it is in Japan and Taiwan, but with Yao in the NBA and Wang for the Yankees (Taiwanese, but that's Chinese, right?) I thought maybe the game is picking up a little popularity there.〕

香港でしたらバスケットボールもしくはサッカーだったかと。ちなみに私は香港の者です。中国では体操競技が重視されてますね。金メダルですから。米国は5位でした。 〔In Hong Kong i believe its basketall or soccer. i am from hong kong. Gymastic important in CHINA. China got the gold and us came in forth〕

以前ほどの人気は無いですね。ただ今年の初め頃に首相の温家宝さんが日本を訪れた際に野球をプレイしておられましてね。それを機に野球の発展を企図した取り組みが始動しているわけなんですよ。これから注目度も上がっていくでしょうし、それに伴う形で人材ももっと集まるようになるのでは。 〔It wasnt as popular before.
