スペインの国技たる見世物イベント、闘牛。スペイン語でコリーダ・デ・トロス。この闘牛イベントはプラサ・デ・トロスという名の大規模な屋外闘技場を舞台に催されています。マタドールすなわち闘牛士（トレーロ）がトロすなわち野牛を剣で倒すというものです。 〔bullfighting, national sport and spectacle of Spain. 以下に寄せられている回答をざっと拝見しましたところで見るに見かねてこのたび指摘に上がりました。最新の調査によれば、スペイン人の72%は闘牛に関心を抱いていません。そもそもスポーツに該当しません。当方に言わせればあんなものゴミ以外の何物でもないわけですが、まあ芸術として愛してらっしゃる方もおられるということで。 〔According to a recent survey, 72% of the Spaniards are NOT interested in bullfight. I wanted to point this out after reading some previous posts based on clichés. And in any case it is not a sport. For me it is crap and for the people who like it it is art.〕

スペイン人です言わせてください。闘牛はスポーツとは 別 物 ！！！ていうかあれって犯罪だと思うんですけど、まあとりあえずそれは置いといて…「フィエスタナシオナル」の呼び名があるのは事実。でもこんな呼び名が登場するのは新聞だけで、普通は誰もそんな呼び方しませんので！しかも「フィエスタナシオナル」の意味するところは「国民的祭事」、つまりスポーツとは一切関係なしなんですよ。こちらで熱狂的なスポーツといえばサッカーが挙げられますね。「大事」な一戦の後なんか特に遥かに激しい荒れ模様。 〔I'm Spanish and bullfighting is NOT a sport!!! I think it's a crime, but that's another story... It is true that is calles "fiesta nacional" but that term is only used in newspapers, nobody speaks that awful! Besides, "fiesta nacional" means "national party", wich has absolutely nothing to do with sports. どうも、スペイン人です。まず、パエリアとフラメンコ、これらはスポーツではありませんよね（'ー`）フラメンコというのはダンスの一種ですから、アート、ですよね。 〔Hi, I'm Spanish. First of all, paella eating and flamenco are not sports ;) Flamenco is a form of dance, therefore an art, in my opinion.〕
