時間に余裕できたらどれか勉強したいと思っとるんだが、難易度がどの程度なのかというのがちょっとわからんもんでね。英語話者なんだが日本語もいくらばかりか知っとる〔大方これには関係してこんのだろうが〕耳心地が最高なのがどれかというのも知りたいところだ。あと習得難易度最高はどれかというのも。あるいはこれらとは別にもっとおすすめの言語があるというならそれを教えてほしいところだ。よろしく！ 〔I'd like to learn one on my own free time, but I don't know how hard it would be. I'm English speaking but I know some Japanese [I doubt that will help] I'd also like to know which one sounds the best, and which one is the hardest to learn. 英語との共通性の乏しさからして、それらの中で最難関といえばポーランド語になろうな。残りの3つについていえば、語族を同じくすることからして、英語との共通性はオランダ語が最高だろう。 〔Polish would be the hardest out of the bunch as it doesn't have much in common with English. Out of the other three Dutch probably has the most in common with English because they are from the same langauge family.〕
デンマーク語もしくはノルウェー語を覚えた場合は、デンマーク語もノルウェー語もさらにはスウェーデン語も同時に理解できるようになるかもしれんよ。同質性が非常に高いからな。 〔If you were to learn either Danish or Norwegian however then you would likely be able to understand Danish, Norwegian and Swedish as all of these languages are very similar〕

母語が英語なのであれば、語族が確か同じなことからしてオランダ語の学習が一番簡単なんじゃないかな。他のもまあまあだけどオランダ語のほうが世界性が高いし喋れたらかっけえよヘヘ。 〔Since you speak english as your native language, i would say learning Dutch would be easier as it is in the same family language i believe. the other languages are kool too but Dutch is more universal and it be kool to know how to speak Dutch hehe.〕

最易はオランダ語かノルウェー語だろうな。その中で英語と最も近いのはオランダ語。語法に違いがあったりはするがな。例えば語順。発音については荒っぽいと言われることがあるな。口蓋摩擦音がやたら多いのと厄介な二重母音があったりするもんでな。ノルウェー語とデンマーク語は類似性が非常に高いもんで、そのまま通じることも結構ある。またどちらも文法がわりと簡潔。英語母語話者にとって発音の面で苦労しないのはどちらかといえばノルウェー語になろうな。 〔I would say either Dutch or Norwegian would be easiest. Dutch is the closest related language to English of the bunch but some of the grammar is a bit different, such as different word order. The pronunciation is also often described as harsh, as there are a lot of velar fricatives (the throaty ch sound like in loch) and a few difficult diphthongs. スウェーデン語とデンマーク語（特に読解）の入門言語としても使えるのがノルウェー語。なので利が多いのはノルウェー語の勉強になりましょう。まあ言うまでもなく、その言語を学ぶ目的は何なのか、あるいは学ぶことそれ自体が目的なのか。そうしたあたりによって話は違ってきます。 〔Norwegian open a gateway to understanding Swedish AND Danish (especially written Danish). デンマーク語会話の基礎のとこ勉強したことあるんだけどさ、すんごい簡単だったよ。文法構造が英語とおんなじ。発音はめっちゃ難しいけどね。 〔well i learned basic conversational danish and taht's pretty easy. it's the same sentence structure as english and the words are extremely hard to pronounce.〕
オランダ語話せる友達（オランダ系メキシコ人）いるんだけど、その彼いわくオランダ語で一番厄介なのは引き延ばしの”h”の音なんだってさ・・・（喉からなんかを引きずり出してるみたいに聞こえる） 〔I have a friend who speaks dutch (he's of a dutch-mexican family) and he says the hardest parts of dutch are all the elongated "h" sounds... (sounds like you're getting something outta your throat)〕
ノルウェー語に関してはデンマーク語と一蓮托生な感じかな。難しいとは思えないけど、綴りの違いやなんかからして、デンマーク語より難易度高めになると思う。 〔norwegian seems to be the same boat as danish. I don't think it's hard but I think the different spellings and such may make it a little harder than Danish.〕

ポーランド語が最難。ほかのと違って語族が別だから。ほかのなら英語もそうだけど同じゲルマン語族だから共通性かなり高い。 〔Polish is the hardest. That is because it's a different language family than the others. The others, including English are Germanic languages and have quite a bit in common.〕
あたしが5歳のときから訓練させられてきたのがオランダ語。あっちに親戚いるもんでさ。あたしはオランダの血を4分の1引いてて、あの国に6ヶ月間ぶっ通しで滞在したことがある。なかなかいい感じだったよ。色んなこと吸収できたし、オランダ語完璧にすることできた。もう流暢な話者だって自信を持って言える。最初のうちは難しく感じるんだけど、コツつかめればすいすい理解できるようになる、それがオランダ語。なんか教えてほしいこととかあったらメールしてきてもいいよ。（╹ｰ╹） 〔Dutch has been hammered into me since I was 5, mostly because I have family there. I'm 1/4 Dutch. I once went there for 6 months straight and had some quality time there. Learnt a lot in that time, and actually perfected my Dutch. I think I can call myself fluent.
